Why Kennedy?

Thank you for your interest in Kennedy! We are an Archdiocesan school serving the St. Louis metro area from our convenient West County location.

Kennedy is the only coeducational, Catholic, college prep high school in West County. We opened in 1968 and are named for the first Catholic to be elected president of the United States.

WHY KENNEDY?

Academics - Kennedy is a comprehensive school offering college prep education to all academic levels. We look at each prospective student as an individual and avoid arbitrary test or grade cutoffs.

Technology - Kennedy is a laptop school. Each student will use a personal laptop computer in all classes. Our students will graduate with high-level technology experience that better prepares them for college and the future.

Spirituality - Kennedy students study religion daily. Our full-time priest celebrates Mass before school every Tuesday and Friday, and we hold all-school Masses monthly. Kennedy's Campus Ministry Department offers numerous opportunities to grow by serving others.

Activities - Kennedy offers highly competitive athletic opportunities in nine sports for young men and nine sports for young women. The Celts play in the difficult Archdiocesan Athletic Conference. We encourage students to get involved in a variety of activities, from Campus Ministry to The Torch news magazine, Student Council, Yearbook, drama, and music. Our size makes it easy to get involved.

Community- Kennedy is known for its cohesive, caring student body. Students support  one another and maintain strong relationships with teachers and fellow students.
