Fine Arts Department

The guiding philosophy of the department, stated simply, is that the fine arts can contribute significantly to the student’s continuing desire to improve the quality of his/her life. The department has developed a flexible system of elective course offerings that will provide students a wide variety of experiences. God has given us music to increase our joy in life. The Music Department aims to teach students the joy and theory of music for their own enjoyment first. It is hoped that the music program will prepare the student for possibly a study of music in college, for musical activity in his/her parish and for a lifetime of appreciation of the art.
