Cheerleading and Dance Team

Four Kennedy Dance Team members perfomed for an audience of 47 million people on Thanksgiving morning.  These talented girls were selected out of thousands of applicants to dance in the 2009 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. While participating in a Missouri dance camp last summer, Andrea, Madeline, Carol and Anna were asked to be a part of the prestigious Varsity Spirit Dance Team in the Macy's parade. Kennedy congratulates these young ladies on their outstanding performance.

Being selected as a Kennedy Catholic Cheerleader is a privilege and honor with many responsibilities. The Varsity Squad consists of juniors and seniors who cheer for home varsity football, soccer and basketball. The Junior Varsity Squad consists of freshmen and sophomores who cheer for home junior varsity football, soccer and basketball. Both squads participate in community service and support Kennedy Catholic with pride. Try outs for cheerleading take place in the spring of each year. Cheerleading is a year-round commitment. The cheerleaders also attend a summer camp.
